One whole year of SSD.
Wow. I started this journey in my one bedroom apartment in New Jersey, with nothing but some borrowed money and a whole lot of dreams. From then until now, I have grown so much and I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride.
I created Simply Sophia Danielle as a reflection of myself. I want all of my customers to be on this style journey with me and understand my vibe. From my "Fuck off" earrings, to my Sugar Daddy Tee, to my variety of tote bags, I love it when someone points that out to me. Whenever I'm at a vendor event and someone cracks a smile or comes up to me specifically and says they love something I have or have created, it is a victory.
I love people and I love when people feel good around me. If my clothes can do that for anyone, I know I've made it. I've worked so hard on this business and I will continue until I've reached my goal of opening my own store(s).
Owning a business runs in my family and I honestly never thought I would be good enough to do it myself. I come from a long line of strong willed, determined, dedicated, and hardworking individuals and am proud to carry all of that.
Over the course of this year I have started this business, done multiple vendor events, met so many amazing people, gained followers, moved locations, and now here we are.
So what does the future look like?
I have so many plans, dreams, ideas, etc. that are floating around in my chaotic mind. The goal for the next few years is to continue to do local vendor events and meet so many more of you wonderful people. I'd like to open my store in downtown Wallingford and host girls night events. I will keep working hard and know that it'll all pay off.
I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for all of my followers, family, and customers who have helped make my little dream come true.
